We live in the land of the midnight sun (Nunavut Canada) and blackout blinds are crucial for our family! We have a toddler and my husband works shift work so we need to be able to sleep soundly regardless of the time of day. We have tried many blackout products in the past with some success, however there was always a need to install additional protection from light that would sneak through (ie. ugly garbage bags around the edges of the windows). With this product we installed it according to the directions (watch the video, it helps!) and voila, pure darkness! Our family has slept wonderfully since the install and I'm so glad to know that when nighttime darkness returns in the fall we can remove the coverings and simply hang them up again next year! If you are on the fence, try this product, it's great and so is the customer service!!

Works great! Blocks out the sun and actually keeps our room cool during the day (living in Phoenix, AZ). I recommend this product to all my coworkers (my wife and myself work graveyard).

These are great! We only put the velcro on the top and we get a little light on the sides, but hardly any. We let the bottom stay long. (This makes them super quick and easy to put up and down.) My husband was waking up at about 4:30 a.m. because of the light and now is able to sleep until about 6:30 a.m.! Yay!

Outstanding results and accomplished exactly what I wanted. My wife is a nurse and recently switched to nights and was having difficulty sleeping. While looking for a solution to blacking out the window I found your company. After looking at your website I immediately ordered 2 of your window covers for our bedroom. I was a little concerned that the black which faced inside would be to noticeable behind the blinds, but figured I gift it a try anyway. The coverings arrived sooner than expected. My shipping notice with tracking said they'd arrive on Monday, but they instead arrived on the Friday before. They were easy to install and completely blacked out the room. So much, that my wife said she can't see her hand in front of her face. Your product does everything you said it would. It also is at a price I think is reasonable given what it accomplishes and the flexibility of being able to pull it up some if we like to allow light in on days she doesn't need to sleep during the day. Oh, and my concern that the black would show through the blinds is not an issue. Once the blinds are closed you can't even tell there is anything behind them. If I had only one word of caution for anyone ordering this is to be sure of your measurments fo the windows before cutting to the size you need. Once the fabric is cut it would be a chore to fix although possible with maybe some rubber cement and patches from leftover scraps once you've cut what you needed.

I ordered a custom size for our new nursery and it could have worked out better! the installation is easy, the velcro allows to remove it needed, and when on the window it is pitch black in the room in the middle of a sunny day! AMAZING!!!!! My son is napping better than ever!!! Best decision you will make ordering from this site.

Amazing product! I am very impressed with the effectiveness of the EZ Blackout covers. They are very easy to assemble, take on and off, and best of all they really work. The second floor of my office has large windows. I wanted to use my projector on the wall but the sun light washed out the image. Blackout EZ completely solved my problem. The quality of the product is very high and installs easily. I ordered the second batch to blackout all the windows on the second floor. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to keep the light out. Thank you!

I started working graveyard a few years back and every time I move I buy Blackout EZ, I love the product! This last time I purchased a rather large order, and there was in issue on UPS's end. I am BEYOND PLEASED with your product!!!!! I am a travel nurse and currently live in a converted shuttle bus. I have been fiddling around with different light blocking ideas for 2 years as I am a night owl and like to do things at night without people being able to see inside my bus. Wow! Simply wow! I have been to retail stores, Home Depot, and never have I been able to find such a durable and quality product for a fraction of the price that I paid for on here. I purchased 3 covers (two small black covers and a custom of 48x48). The price was well worth it; within about 3 days I received my covers and I had them installed within about 15mins. I work nights as a nurse in a busy ER and these covers are a godsend for me. They truly block out ALL of the light that manages to seep in to your room through standard black out curtains. Once you have them installed, taking them off and on is just a matter of habit and takes a few seconds. You can rolled them up or fold them away until you have to sleep during the day again. I seriously, can't recommend this product enough. Thank you for saving my sanity and I can finally sleep during the day without the blinding light of the sun shine through my window, lol!!

This is the second time I've ordered blackout window covers from this company. The product arrives super fast in sturdy packaging. The custom sizes I ordered are cut VERY precisely, with very smooth edges. Really, very high quality product and workmanship. The velcro strips have lasted for 5 years on the windows from my original order and helps my nightshift nurse sleep very well during bright sunny days with south facing windows. They really cut down on the amount of heat that comes through the windows as well, it's like an extra layer of insulation keeping it nice and cool during the summer. My most recent purchase was for a bathroom window that collects a ton of condensation when people take showers. I had the idea that the vinyl would insulate the window and reduce the condensation and it worked! Fantastic product and very good customer service. Thank you!

my window cover arrived sooner than expected, which was GREAT! I followed the easy instructions of measuring the window, applying the hook and loop tape, then cut the cover with the graph lines that made cutting a breeze. After that applied the hook and loop tape to the cover ad connected the two to the window. Could have not been easier. The window looks custom, it blocks out all light even at noon day. I love it, and I am pleased with the product. Will certainly order more.

I ordered 3 custom blinds in 2 sizes, white on both sides. The order arrived on time and in good condition. Everything was clearly labeled: the packages containing the velcro strips and the fabric listed the size of the blind it was for. I watched the installation video on the web site, which helped, although installing the blinds was simple. They completely blocked the light and didn't interfere with the regular wood blinds. I would definitely recommend them.

I inaccurately measured the area where the Blackout EZ window cover was to be installed. My bad. I called my handygirl nieces, queens of home makeovers. They measured and cut the custom cover to perfectly fit the window and installed it. The room is blacked out exactly as advertised, and from the outside, it simply looks as though there's a white solid blind covering the window. The cover was installed prior to the arrival of my son, daughter-in-law, and their babies' arrival for Thanksgiving. The super-dark room allowed the babies to sleep more soundly than they do at home, according to their mother. That was exactly what I wanted. I recommend Blackout EZ to anyone who needs a completely dark room for sleeping. This is a great product.

I just installed my new BlackoutEz window covers, and I CANNOT WAIT to go to sleep! I did a test and there was NO light that came in. I've tried a lot of things, most recently tin foil which not only makes you look insane to your neighbors, but gets little pinholes that let light in as well as gets noisy with the wind. These are so nice looking, quiet and effective. I even left a little velcrow at the top to be able to roll the blackout curtains up so I don't have to take them completely off the window in the daytime. I work for a public library in Franklin Twp NJ. We have a public room that we show movies in and need it completely dark for better viewing. We did a lot of research and blackout ez was the only company that had a product that completely blacked out any light and was not permanent. Their prices are very reasonable, their staff was very accommodating, and the product was extremely easy to install. This is the best product ever.
